Traditional Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces are the most common fixed orthodontic services/ appliances and consist of brackets, wires, and elastic bands.

The metal brackets are bonded to the front of the tooth while the arch wires are passed through the brackets and provide the necessary force needed to move your teeth into proper position.   The cool thing about traditional metal braces is that it provides a fun experience for patients to choose different color at every appointment.

Clear Braces

Clear braces have the same components as metal braces, though they are clear or made of tooth-colored ceramic.   They are much less noticeable since they blend with your teeth and they are a great choice if esthetics is your concern.

Invisalign

Invisalign treatment involves a series of clear, custom-fit aligners that are removable, comfortable, and almost invisible. These aligners do not consist of brackets, wires, or metal bands.

It is a good esthetic option.  Since the aligners are removable, patients can brush and floss their teeth easily.   In order for the aligner to be effective, you need to wear these aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day and only taking them out for meals and cleaning.

Surgical Orthodontics

Also known as orthognathic surgery, surgical orthodontics is performed to correct improper bites and jaw discrepancy.  Often times, orthodontic treatment alone will improve mild skeletal discrepancy and surgery is not necessary. However, if the discrepancy is significant, orthognathic surgery in conjunction with orthodontics will correct the facial esthetic issues as well as bite and skeletal issues.

Dr. Htut and Dr. Tabata have successfully treated many patients who have then felt a drastic difference in their facial esthetics and quality of life.

Adult Orthodontic Treatment

Adult orthodontic treatment involves straightening and aligning the teeth and bite using various techniques, such as braces or clear aligners. Early Interceptive & Phase I Orthodontic Treatment

Early interceptive orthodontic treatment involves addressing orthodontic issues in children at a younger age, typically between the ages of 7 and 11. This proactive approach allows us to intervene early, guiding the growth and development of the teeth and jaw to prevent more serious issues from arising later on.
